Welcome to Engine 17 on the web!
These pages are dedicated to the Vulcan 0-4-0T steam locomotive number 17 at the New Hope Valley Railway and North Carolina Railway Museum in Bonsal, NC.  Locomotive 17 operates on Ride Days at the New Hope Valley Railway, pulling excursion trains up and down the line, and making short work of switching duty, just as she did when built - over 65 years ago!
