These pages are dedicated to the Vulcan 0-4-0T steam locomotive
designated number 17 at the New Hope Valley Railway and North Carolina
Railroad Museum in Bonsal, NC - a project of the East Carolina Chapter
of the National Railway Historical Society. Locomotive 17 operates
on Ride Days at the New Hope Valley Railway, pulling excursion trains up
and down the line, and making short work of switching duty, just as she
did when built - over 65 years ago! |
